Overview:
The objective of the environmental impact assessment is to enable the licensing authority and the project owner to study well the potential environmental impacts of the project and make the necessary recommendations to reduce them. Sufficient information must be provided to the donor so that it can decide regarding the approval of the project and determine the conditions necessary for granting this approval. The information provided must be clear and objective and supported by maps and other explanatory details.
