Paul Choules is CEO of Water Cycle LLC, an international desalination and water treatment consulting and advisory company. Mr. Choules started his desalination and water treatment career over 40 years ago. Since then, he has worked in the areas of business development, permitting, start-up, commissioning, project management, and operating of reverse osmosis and thermal desalination plants around the world with industrial and municipal clients. He is the President of the Caribbean Desalination Association (CaribDA) and a former President of the Texas Desalination Association.

Tom Pankratz is a Texas-based independent consultant and the editor of GWI’s weekly Water Desalination Report. He has served as an expert advisor on some of the world’s largest and most technically advanced desalination projects and has been appointed to serve on committees by the US National Academy of Sciences, WHO, MEDRC, Australia’s National Center of Excellence in Desalination US DOE and Rice University’s NEWT Center. A former vice president of CH2M Hill (now Jacobs), and the director of corporate projects for USFilter/Veolia Water. He regularly writes and speaks about new desal, membrane and reuse technologies and trends.
